I remember in my first photo class I presented a photo to be critiqued that I thought to be pretty good or at least one I liked a lot. First comment I got was from an experienced photographer and it was concering cutting off the bottoms of the trees. I thought it was BS at the time but later accepted that his view was in line with composition guide lines. So I pass it on to you.

Again I want to say don`t cut the edges off. The trees in the foreground need bottoms. All trees need their bases to support the composition.
